this morning it's still cool and clear. 50 degrees in petaluma, 50 in sonoma and you're at about 22 in bodega bay. 43 in san jose and 39 in gilroy. two storm systems, first one coming up from the south. this one is packing a lot of moisture. it arrives as we head through this evening, but we're expecting the heaviest rain through the first system. saturday is not looking that bad but sunday is. if you're trying to make outdoor plans, you're better off doing so on saturday and even that will be dicey. that's talk about that. the first one arrives at 5:00 p.m. showers starting to creep up from the south. that will be the trend. then overnight getting some heavy rain that will continue into tomorrow morning's commute. mike and i will we here to guide you through it. throughout the day friday heavy rain comes down all the way through 9:00 p.m. friday night. then it's going to start to break up just a little bit. look what happens on saturday. you get a little bit of a dry break starting at 10:00 a.m. that will last until 6:00 p.m. this system packing quite a bit of moisture so it all works
